Picobsd is crunched, it is a single file with only the necessary binaries. People say it is secure this way. It does not have libraries. I have try to copy everything into a bsd partition, boot it, but I cannot run other binaries like vim or mutt I can download from freebsd mirror. In slackware (linux), I can download a rescue floppy, copy everything into a partition and I have a usable system. I can get other binaries and it will run fine. > >>>>On Wed, Aug 14, 2002 at 04:08:43PM +0000, Neo Sze Wee wrote: > >>>> > >>>>>Only binaries and libraries, enough to get going.
