This is a multi-part message in MIME format. --------------010605070002040905090207 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Hi, after updating the gnome libraries to 2.14 (I'm actually running xfce), I noticed two things: * switching to the console (Ctrl-Alt-F1) works, but switching back locks Xorg or xfce: all windows reappear but remain blank and a lot of processes end up in the STOP state (a.o. xfce4-panel, but not Xorg itself) * when trying to terminate the session using the 'off' button from the panel, the screen fades to white and the system seems to freeze (Ctrl-Alt-F1 does not work, reset needed) I also updated FreeBSD from 6.1-RC1 to 6.1-RC2 at the same time, but I don't expect that these changes are causing the above issues. Before the gnome upgrade, switching and the 'off' button worked fine. The complete package list is attached. Please CC me, I'm not on the gnome list.
