It performed fine until this morning, when it wouldn't boot. It wouldn't power on. I pushed the "on" button, and nothing happened. No fan, no hard drive noise, nothing, nada, nichevo. I do have a green light indicating that the power cord is plugged in, and another for the battery. Does anyone have any suggestions for things to try before I ship this back to Toshiba? Also, has anyone sent a FreeBSD laptop to Toshiba? Do they freak that it's not running Windows? What are the odds that they'll replace the hard drive on me? (The hard drive certainly isn't the problem, but these are tech support people we're talking about here.) The most annoying thing is, I have about 20 hours of work on it not yet backed up. If someone can help me make this boot again, I'll be sure to credit you in my next FreeBSD article. ;) Thanks, ==ml To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-mobile" in the body of the message
