To: questions@freebsd.org cc: Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, I am writing to ask your help with my employers firewall. FreeBSD 3.2-RELEASE rebooted after a weeks operation, and then stopped with a message like da0: invalidating pack. (da0 contains / and /usr). After being power cycled it booted cleanly. fsck showed no disk content problems. The host is a Dell Power Edge 4300 with 1 GB RAM to run Squid 2.2.4-STABLE. If there was a panic I didn't get any messages on the console or in the log. Any suggestions will be gratefully received. How can I log kernel messages ? a serial console ? Thank you, Yours sincerely. To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
