Recently however the PAO version of 2.2.5 has been released. So heres my list of questions 1) Would I gain by upgrading a laptop whos sole purpose in life is security scans and testing sendmail from 2.2.2 to 2.2.5 ? 2) How do you you upgrade from one version to the next? Do you have to overwrite using /stand/sysinstall and then merge all of the /etc and /usr/X11R6/lib/X11 config files yourself. 3) I tried booting off the new 2.2.5 (the 13/12 version) PAO boot floppy, it got to the probing the PCMCIA card controller, then had an error stating the / was full and crashed (This is odd as the 2.2.2 version had no trouble at all). I have a Toshiba T2200CS 80486 with20Mb of RAM Getting off the upgrade to my current installation: I have a hayes accura 336 fax - modem PCMCIA card. I tried valiantly to get the syntax to configure this card correctly in /etc/pccard.conf using the sio driver (quite obviously failing) I do not understand the flags and syntax of the modem configuration can anyone help me? (Getting my network card working was easy compared to the modem) Stephen Cooper
