Hi

I have a new PERL in the wings that I'd like to commit RSN.

Question: do we still support a.out make worlds? I have _no_ way
of testing them at the moment, and little inclination to even try.

Perl has (had) a special case for a.out builds, and I'd like to
remove this in favour of ELF-only.

May I do this?
