Then, the initio chipset was not supported directly by FreeBSD : you had to patch the kernel sources to add the driver. I have seen (on one FreeBSD mailing list) that someone is adding support for the initio chipset. I was wondering if anyone has gotten it working. I usually use all adaptec, but this was given to me and i'd like to make it work.
