I am considering a sound card for my FreeBSD box, I will use it to play MP3's mostly, because when i leave my MP3 player playing 24/7 on my Windows '98 box the machine coughs, dies, crashes and burns every 6 hours or so. When i don't play any mp3's i can keep it up for 18 hours or so without a reboot. Anyway, i would like the Brand names AND model #'s of cards that are both supported and that people have had good luck with. Please keep in mind I would like to spend less than $25 or so. Thanks.
