It works wonderful with Linux, but my operating system at my workplace is FreeBSD, so I would be glad, if I could use it. I downloaded beta4 from the local ftp mirror. Burned the CD, and put in my new Peg. Loaded the loader with: 'boot cd boot/loader' from the OpenFirmware. It looked nice, it loaded the kernel as well. But when I tried to boot, I got the following on screen: Kernel entry 0x130524 ... KDB: debugger backends: ddb KDB: current backend: ddb Cppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppp pppppppppppppppppppppppmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm The number of 'p'-s and 'm'-s is just a rough estimate ;-) Anyone got any further? Or I should forget FreeBSD on Pegasos. If not, I can help, but only with testing, as I'm not a developer... Bye, Peter
