Hello I'm trying to retrieve my email from a remote POP server and put it in my local mail queue. I then also need to do the reverse - take mail from the mail queue and send it to a SMTP server. I am behind a firewall and have my Internet connection served to me through NAT, but the server is not running FreeBSD. I have a POP daemon that can retrive the mail fine and then tries to give the mail to sendmail at 127.0.0.1:25 It prints messages out that the mail has been retrived, but sendmail complains that it can't lookup the domains of the emails. Do I need to run named to do the DNS query? Also how do I get sendmail to send outgoing mail? Thanks Jesse Gross __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo!
