The config.y and lang.l files are more than a mere mortal can stand, at least in my weakened state 8) This is needed for us to be able to handle both devices that have _no_ IO ports, and those that are sure of where to look. Doing it at this level means that if/when some other scheme is implemented, nothing needs to be changed at the kernel-config file level. Also, I could grep for "auto" and find out how to add other keywords. Like, for example "ask" 8) > Jordan -- ]] Mike Smith, Software Engineer msmith@atrad.adelaide.edu.au [[ ]] Genesis Software genesis@atrad.adelaide.edu.au [[ ]] High-speed data acquisition and [[ ]] realtime instrument control (ph/fax) +61-8-267-3039 [[ ]] My car has "demand start" -Terry Lambert UNIX: live FreeBSD or die!
