FreeBSD bayonetta.local 9.1-PRERELEASE FreeBSD 9.1-PRERELEASE #12 r238487M: Sun Jul 15 08:51:25 PDT 2012 gcooper@bayonetta.local:/usr/obj/store/freebsd/stable/9/sys/BAYONETTA amd64
>Description:
When running pkg version, I got noise because the ports directory didn't exist for
pkg-config:

# pkg version
..
pkg-1.0.r3 <
make: chdir /usr/ports/devel/pkg-config: No such file or directory
pkg-config-0.25_1 !

I'm fine with the pkg-config notification (`!`, etc), but the make noise could be
quieted, or captured in another way (maybe with a different verbosity level).
