[Warning - topic divergence approaching] I've noticed that the auto-fs making utility in the novice configuration does this, it automatically creates a really small root and the rest of a medium size (proportional to your HDD of course) :)) Anyone any ideas why? I generally end up creating partitions by hand just for kicks anyway, but I'm curious.
