Assuming the answer to the above is both fixed, my setup should get you started. Note that I have a local ethernet with bogus IP addresses, which complicates the picture a little. For my FreeBSD machine with the ppp external connection the setup is as follows; the local ethernet address for this machine is 10.0.0.2, hostname freebie. Just ignore all references to that name / address and the 10.0.0.0 network if you don't have the same situation...
