No idea honstly, also cannot find a common factor for this issue. But almost every admin has seen it I think. I've seen them as long as I can remember.

Some have suggested to compile this into the kernel:

options         PRINTF_BUFR_SIZE=128

. but I'd rather keep running GENERIC kernels (freebsd-update)
