I'm frustrated, but intel has been fairly good about giving up docs and licensing of code that they write. I don't think that they are actively trying to alienate us, they are just trying to take advantage of the latest linux kernel bits and make it easier for them to merge into linux. I'm not sure that it is going to work out all that well for them (the linux folks) either though. For now, it's all still up in the air, so I don't know what will happen with the repo's.
