You're lucky. I've been trying to get x11/kde2 to make install for a couple of weeks now with no success.on current. kdebase won't/can't seem to get past kicker. How did you get kdebase to compile? Thanks, ed Quoting Kent Stewart <kstewart@urx.com>: | The current kdebase-2.1.1 port will not complete a "make package". It has | trouble with 3 of the screensavers. You can do a make install but that | doesn't help you deal with installing it on slower systems. | | The FTP mirrors don't have a copy of kdebase-2.1.1.tgz and I am assuming it | is because of the broken make package. The rest of the packages that make | up | KDE-2 are there. | | Kent | | -- | Kent Stewart | Richland, WA | | Cool Video | http://www.bmwfilms.com | | mailto:kbstew99@hotmail.com | http://kstewart.urx.com/kstewart/index.html | FreeBSD News http://daily.daemonnews.org/ | | To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org | with "unsubscribe freebsd-ports" in the body of the message | ----------------------------------------------------------------------- The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn and relearn. --Alvin Toffler To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-ports" in the body of the message
