We are getting a lot of parallell ports of the same program, such as a2ps and a2ps-43, tripwire and tripewire-131, etc. Most of these exists for some fairly good reason; however, it is close to impossible for us mere mortals to tell what this reason *is*, as updating pkg-descr when a port is split seems to be the exception rather than the rule. Please try to document why there are two ports - not doing so just creates endless user confusion. I can sometimes tell from the CVS logs, but we can't expect our users to do that. Thanks! Eivind.
