The following reply was made to PR ports/70556; it has been noted by GNATS. From: Thomas-Martin Seck <tmseck@netcologne.de> To: Sergey Matveychuk <sem@FreeBSD.org> Cc: freebsd-gnats-submit@FreeBSD.org Subject: Re: ports/70556: [Maintainer] sysutils/uschedule: update to 0.7.1 Date: Tue, 17 Aug 2004 19:17:05 +0200 * Sergey Matveychuk (sem@FreeBSD.org): > Why do you set NO_SIZE=yes? As pav@ already said, the master site's HTTP daemon -- publicfile -- does not return the file size when fetch(1) asks about it. This used to break 'make fetch' in the past. And since I tend to forget to define NO_SIZE on the commandline when I do "make makesum" for the publicfile served ports I maintain, I put it in the Makefile :)
