I have a 12GB HDD.

I want the following OS installed:
1. Win98
2. NT
3. Linux
4. FreeBSD

I have tried the following order:
1, 2, 4, but when partitioning in FreeBSD it only shows 1 (win98), and
extended (which is the rest of the disk).
So to install 4, i have to delete extended which erases 2 (NT). I did not
install FreeBSD bootmanager (this is another story).
After installation, during bootup I get "invalid partition table", etc. So I
booted up with a win98 floppy, then fdisked, had a look,
AND ALL FREEBSD PARTITIONS WERE 'A' set active and type is NON-DOS.
OK, set win98 partition to be 'A'. Then tried installing NT and it says boot
sector not recognized expected 'A5A5' but
got '6A6C' or something like that.

Then tried installing FreeBSD WITH FreeBSD bootmanager. During boot up it
shows F1 - DOS, F3 - FreeBSD, F4 - FreeBSD,
and pressed every bloody key but only accepts F1. What's the use of a
bootmanager if it can't boot itself!!!!

Then tried this order :
1, 4, 3, during LILO installation, I named the bsd partition option to
"bsd", but when installing LILO, there was error.
if remove "bsd" from patition label, then ok to continue installation.
WEIRD....
OK, install linux. But up with lilo, went into linux, edited /etc/lilo.conf
to have the bsd partition boot option,
liloed but discovered FreeBSD is AFTER 1024 cylinders.
WHAT THE ... IS GOING ON ????

WHAT'S THE ORDER TO GET THESE OS TO CO-EXIST ????

Sorry for the frustration...will battle on...

cheers,
