As they say missery loves company;) Somehow =20 it would seem that we chose the wrong cpu if practically nothing will =20 boot it except windows. I'm stuck with vista that I've found much =20 worse than XP, for a while too I guess. I'm still in hopes that someone has a trick up their sleeve. There =20 seem to be a lot of laptops that use the Turion 64x2 mobile. Thanks again, ed
