So, I hope I'm not throwing in my 2 cents too early. With nice, 20 is the lowest priority, 0 is the base, and -20 is the highest. for me `ps auxl` shows both pri and ni, but not rtprio and I'm definitely not the one to ask regarding pri and rtprio.
