Hello freebsd-questions, I run a server cluster that does allot of logging across NFS to an MFS drive. The problem is once in a while the server with the MFS drive reboots for no apparent reason. When it comes back up the other servers get a stale nfs handle and do not perform the auto remount routine like they would an ordinary drive. The nfs mounts are mounted with the bg options. They are supposed to fork off a child process and remount automatically as soon as the server comes back up. Is there some kind of option or switch I am missing in this configuration? Any information would be much appreciated. Thanks Best regards, Greg mailto:admin@fastserve.net Fastserve Network 548 S.
