https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D216482 Bug ID: 216482 Summary: sysutils/py-ranger: Wrong characters in non-ascii filenames/UI Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Many People Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: freebsd-ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: petr.fischer@me.com CC: linpct@gmail.com CC: linpct@gmail.com Flags: maintainer-feedback?(linpct@gmail.com) Just %subject. Touch a file named '=E6=B8=AC=E8=A9=A6=E4=B8=AD=E6=96=87' (means test Chine= se character), but at ranger it shows 'M-fM-8M-,M-hM-)M-&M-dM-8M--M-fVG0'. Also try this file name '=C4=9B=C5=A1=C4=8D=C5=99=C5=BE=C3=BD=C3=A1=C3=AD= =C3=A9=C4=9A=C5=A0=C4=8C=C5=98=C5=BD=C3=9D=C3=81=C3=89'. It's sad, ranger is a neat piece of console software. Maybe it's something with python-27 or some python library, can we cooperate with port dependencies maintainers? How? --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
