This array can be as large as 1.5 TBytes and I would like to back it up to an LTO autoloader, http://www.storage.ibm.com/techsup/tapetech/lto_ftp.htm . What I require is a collection of scripts to control the operation, managing the tapes swapping, restore files, that sort of thing. I plan to put a GUI front end on it to allow the user to define the schedule and also restore data. Other than inserting the tapes the operation should be completely automatic. I know that I could use Bru or Amanda, put frankly I do not have the time nor resource to do it hence I would like someone to do it for me. I am happy for the individual to work from home and at weekends, I can provide access to the equipment remotely or delivery them to your door. If any one is interested please let me know.
