Can you connect OK if you do this: ppp term atdt4108841220 This should dial then prompt you for your username and password, then show you're connected by changing prompt to PPP. If you only get partial caps in your prompt, let the list know. If you can connect this way, there's a problem with the chat script; if you can't, the problem lies elsewhere.
