If somebody with a 6.x or higher machine with GCC 3.3 on it can do the following test: $ cat a.c #include <math.h> #include <stdio.h> int main(void) { printf("%Lf\n",nanl("0")); printf("%Lf\n",nanl("1")); } $ make a $ ./a to see if it works it would make me very happy.
