Hello, I would like to configure freeBSD to run on my machine, but am unsure how to get it to detect my ethernet card. Could someone please tell me if freeBSD supports this card? SMC EtherEZ (8416) Interrupt Request: 09 Input/Output Range: 0240-025F Those are the specs..now can it be supported? If not can freeBSD be configured to detect it? I need help...I am a newbie so I don't know how to do things like "compile a kernel" or "edit the kernel". I have read support files etc, so if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated! My ICQ is 28238739 for whoever is kind enough to chat with a confused user :) Thanx To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
