Hi PPP (user mode) people,

I seem to be stumbling at this point in ppp:
ppp ON vector> dial
dial OK!
login OK!
ppp ON vector> Packet mode.
ppp ON vector> 
PPP ON vector> SIOCAIFADDR: File exists
Usage: add dest mask gateway

Anyone got any ideas ?
(PS I still have a working SL/IP config Im using to send this mail,
which uses the same modem)

My current level of src is ctm src-cur 783 (about 10 patches behind yesterdays
current) . this ctm level was used to gen. both a kernel & all src/
so no mismatch there, maybe my sl/ip is interfering,
though i did an explicit 	ifconfig sl0 down just to be sure
I'm still kind'a new to networking, & its a bit hard without a
working box alongside to do comparisons with (though jkh has sent his pp.conf,
thanks jkh :-)

I guess I've not done something .. somewhere perhaps my netstart is too old or ..
BTW this is my current ppp.conf
