I am pretty ignorant about laptops so my question is a little vague. Anyone have any general comments on any possible "gotchas" when purchasing a laptop for use with FreeBSD as a handy machine. In this case I would be using it more under X-Windows than at a console level. The ones I have seen are either Asus's or Asus's inside with another name on the outside. I would guess the questions boil down to chipset and PCMIA support. Thanks. -- Regards Cliff To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
