I should have expressed my thought more explicitly. However, a couple of years may be too conservative an approach. As you may have noticed, I have been tracking several FreeBSD mailing lists -- BTW, an excellent source of advice and information for that matter. In my previous post, I specifically recommended freebsd-hardware as a source of wisdom^W advice :-) Unfortunately, a number of people don't seem to be doing that.
