Just sharing the same opinion.. i think yr step is fair and good enuff since u're also go thru mergemaste= r steps.. mine also do the same step since 4.x and it works fine for me with no error= s or anything weird.. my make.conf: # added by use.perl 2006-08-22 09:40:06 PERL_VER=3D5.8.8 PERL_VERSION=3D5.8.8 CFLAGS=3D -O -pipe COPTFLAGS=3D -O -pipe NO_PROFILE=3Dtrue CPUTYPE?=3Dpentium4 in your /etc/make.conf u just stated "NO_PROFILE=3D" with blank statements.= . can we consider is as "false"? --=20 ___________________________________________________ Play 100s of games for FREE! http://games.mail.com
