The kernel can detect it and everything (as device acd0), but when i try to mount it, it gives me the error: atapi1.0: controller not ready for cmd i've tried the following in order to try to get it to work: mount -t cd9660 /dev/wcd0c /cdrom mount_cd9660 /dev/wcd0c /cdrom mount -t cd9660 /dev/acd0c /cdrom mount_cd9660 /dev/acd0c /cdrom I've tried modifying atapi.c and have received no luck. I tried adding options IDE_DELAY 8000 to the kernel but that did not help either. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks.
