Anybody know howto simply > *number* pages when editing a file with OpenOffice? Gary, Open your file in swriter, then go to insert -> footer -> default This will give you the footer at the bottom of your pages. Then go to insert -> fields -> page numbers You will then have every page numbered. If you want the page number in the middle of the page, click on the footer and hit the middle button for page settings. That should do it.
