inetd already has the built-in equivalent to that. Maybe it's possible to make a REAL ident (*cough* the one I wrote) an option, inetd has that service off by default. Then the user can select one of two lines for a real ident service or a fake one. I should probably take the FAKEID stuff out, or make sure that noone can fake another user with it. Hmm... I'll fix that in the next few minutes, I guess.
