For 7.4 I'm just going to turn off XAA offscreen pixmaps by default, they end up being a performance loss in most cases anyway." Thus, XaaNoOffscreenPixmaps is really "the fix". (For me, "AccelMethod" "EXA" did not help, for radeon at least.) Moreover, since "-jpeg" was added to "USE_MOZILLA" with Firefox 3.0.1 in the port, I have not seen the problem with any options.
