I need to FTP to get more dist sets, but am behind a SOCKS5 proxy server, on a Novell 4.11 network (supports TCP/IP). Any help would be MOST appreciated, as I'm excited to be checking out this OS, and want to play more :) I have gone into the networking config, and have the connections loaded (or however you put that). When I try to ftp, I get no route to host - I tried using the numeric form of the address too. Normally if I try to ping a site from my usual workstation, I get no route to host. I can only FTP (that I've been able to make work so far) by using a program called sockscap which gets you through the socks server. Thanking you in advance for your help! Have a great day, Samantha To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
