I was certain that there was a discussion of adding it to the system 
but the dates don't back that up. I did a "locate sysinstall" and the 
single executable version is all that showed up. It was always 
something you did after finishing a system upgrade.

Well, if you have used it since 18 Sep, I would say you need it. About 
the only time I use it is when I upgrade something. For example, the 
gui setup of an HD. Since the lastest code is always sitting in 
/usr/src/release/sysinstall, I just make it before I go to use it. I 
also have a tendancy to upgrate it after a new release. I hadn't done 
that this time.
