Hi All I'm trying to get FreeBSD to install on a PC here and nothing to do with the PCI bus is probed. When I say nothing, BSD does not find and of the motherboard resources (PCI-ISA bridge etc) and also does not see the 2 3COM 3c905 NICs. Motherboard chipset: VX-Pro (Taiwanese rip-off of Intel VX chipset, supposed pin and function compatible) FreeBSD version: both 2.2.8 and 3.3-RELEASE I've tried the standard GENERIC kernel off the CD with 2.2.8 and 3.3, as well as a stripped down 3.3 kernel with the line controller pci0 in it. Please help - I need to get this machine going and cannot see the PCI network card.
