Just installed frebsd 5.0, it's great and all, but I've ran into some problems with gnome. I've installed gnome 2 from ports. I also installed various fonts, including webfonts. The XF86Config font section looks like this: ----- Section "Files" RgbPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/rgb" ModulePath "/usr/X11R6/lib/modules" FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/misc/" FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Speedo/" FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Type1/" FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi/" FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/100dpi/" FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/TTF" FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/webfonts/" FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/mozilla" FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/nucleus" FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/URW" FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/sharefont" FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/local/sgi" ------ Xft 2.1 and pango are installed (also from ports). I am able to get antialiased fonts in qt, mozilla, metacity and xchat2, but not in the gnome 2 desktop or nautilus as you can see here: http://sod.cont.ro/desktop/sod/antialias.png What am I missing? -- Best regards, Ovidiu 'sod' Moisanu "It's sad that in our blindness we gather thorns for flowers" -- Aaron Stainthorpe-- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-gnome" in the body of the message
