Obviously it does not support ACPI. Does anyone know a battery monitor for use within Gnome or X that does support ACPI in 5.x? Looking at the other applets referenced on gnome.org and at xbatt, xbattbar it seems they all support only APM for now. BTW: altough battstat applet complains about APM not being enabled, it still provides information about battery status, which works as apm displays information even if APM is disabled. But I don't know how accurate it is. Regards Markus
