From the keyboard of Leif Neland: > Does that imply that it only rings in full-screen mode? > Did -b do the same? Yes, yes. > Is it not possible to get a beep when isdnd runs in the background? Its possible but i have no idea how thich can be done in a clean way. Since a terminal is is associated with a running isdnd only in fullscreen mode you can just ring the bell in that case. In background, no terminal is associated with an isdnd and so there is no bell to ring. Where shall it ring ? In the PC in the machine room ? On the console in the console room ? hellmuth -- Hellmuth Michaelis Tel +49 40 55 97 47-70 HCS Hanseatischer Computerservice GmbH Fax +49 40 55 97 47-77 Oldesloer Strasse 97-99 Mail hm [at] hcs.de D-22457 Hamburg WWW http://www.hcs.de To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-isdn" in the body of the message
