Sender: owner-freebsd-doc@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.org Does anyone have any generic suggestions/rules etc. for marking up text in LinuxDoc (e.g. when adding FAQ entries). For example, should and

tags have closing tags? Is there a certain set of tags for which minimization is preferred? IOW, I've seen a tags always as foo in the parts of the FAQ that I've seen. Is that a general rule for ? If anyone has some guidelines, etc., I'll try to collect them, SGML'ify them in DocBook, and see if Nik'll put them in the DocProj Primer. Also, I was going to submit a FAQ for installing splash screens as well as where to find them, mostly pulling from my splash screens gallery page. Should that go in Section 2: Installation or Section 9: X and Virtual Consoles? --- John Baldwin -- http://members.freedomnet.com/~jbaldwin/ PGP Key: http://members.freedomnet.com/~jbaldwin/pgpkey.asc "Power Users Use the Power to Serve!" - http://www.freebsd.org To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-doc" in the body of the message
