yes it is BAD that your machine claims to be:
    cartman.private.techsupport.co.uk
when
    that name resolves to 10.5.4.106
    and 10.5.4.106 does not resovle to
        cartman.private.techsupport.co.uk

why not use cabletel1.cableol.net (194.168.3.4) on the helo line?
why does the box claim to be what it is not?
