People checking out URL's might also want to look at: http://www.edtn.com/news/june26/062698tnews1.html which is a news article about a bug in the Xeon. They (Intel) aren't specific about what the bug was, but apparently it only effects the use of Xeon in "servers", but not "workstations". They also have a microcode fix which they are testing.
