This old (Feb '97) document resurfaced recently on slashdot.org. Linux Advocacy Mini-HOWTO: http://sunsite.unc.edu/LDP/HOWTO/mini/Advocacy.html Just another collection of sensible thoughts about spreading the message about package Foo. Not necessarily Linux specific (there are references to Linus et. al.); with a few diffs, it should be applicable to practically any open-source project like Apache, perl, FreeBSD or PostgreSQL. Presented in the spirit of Santayama: "those who fail to learn from the past are doomed to repeat it." (or words to that effect) -- Adam.
