I think that alfred perlstein was working on supporting it (I think??)
You may want to ask on -current about this?

cvsup again..I beleive the John Polstra commited some code to enable gdb
on core dumps.

Not yet.  People have been posting patches on -current so people could
build their own elf X, but I don't believe a precompiled binary is
available yet.  Soon I would imagine.
