Also there is shell script that create .platformio/packages that point to installed compilers. rc.d script was never tested, I always start dashboard from terminal. I use it some time, it works with some ESP devices, some times hacks requir= ed. Is is take to many time to support esphome + compiles + make hacks after ev= ery update.
