 Yes, I've caught same error with same CFLAGS.

 Well, I guess programs broken by optimizer are fundamentally broken.
 Since problem is fixed when official patch is applied, there might
 be no reason to avoid using it....
 
 If you still prefer to keep optimizer disabled rather than append
 tiny patch, you should have to add
 
  NO_PACKAGE=ignores cflags
 
 line into ports Makefile, as explaind in Porter's Handbook.
