If I hit the refresh button the page loads in straight away. It appears that this error is a front for a tcp timeout error. My gateway is FreeBSD 4.1.1. I am not sure where the delay is happening, if I ping my server I get a reply of <1ms (98 shows 0ms) pinging the isp shows a low delay when traffic is low. When traffic is high the ping is more than a second. just not sure why ? The machine is p133 with 48Mb ram, one PCI eithernet interface and a 56Kbps modem. The HDD is only 733Mb and is very full , this could be a problem, but I am not sure ?? Regards, Kathy.
